In Muay Thai, Jacob won Gold and Silver at the WMO European Championships and has been selected to represent England multiple times.
Alongside Karate and Muay Thai, Jacob trains in Kobudo and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu as part of his goal to become a complete martial artist.
The Journey
Jacob began his martial arts journey at the age of 5 and has spent over nine years developing his skills, character and discipline through consistent training.
Throughout his journey he has progressed from a beginner to a 2nd Dan Black Belt, international competitor and martial arts instructor. His passion for learning continues to drive him forward as he develops across multiple martial arts disciplines.
While Jacob enjoys competing, he believes martial arts is about much more than medals and trophies.
Training has taught him tradition, respect, discipline, resilience and the importance of leading by example. These values help shape his approach both inside and outside the dojo and gym.
Alongside his own training schedule, Jacob enjoys helping younger students build confidence and develop their own martial arts skills through teaching and mentoring.
Jacob currently trains across four martial arts disciplines:
🥋 Karate – Enigma Martial Arts Shotokan & Goju Ryu
🥊 Muay Thai – Max Force Muay Thai
⚔️ Kobudo – Traditional Okinawan Weapons
🤼 Japanese Jiu-Jitsu – Grappling & Self Defence
His aim is to become a well-rounded martial artist with a deep understanding of both traditional and modern combat systems.
Jacob's long-term goal is to continue representing England, compete at the highest levels of amateur martial arts and inspire other young people to discover the benefits of training.
Through competition, coaching and content creation, he hopes to promote the positive values of martial arts while sharing his journey with others.
