Achievements

Jacob began his martial arts journey at just 5 years old when he joined Tameside Lil Dragons in January 2016. What started as a fun introduction to martial arts quickly developed into a passion for training, discipline, and personal growth.

Over the next several years, Jacob progressed steadily through the junior ranks, demonstrating dedication and commitment well beyond his years. His hard work saw him advance through every coloured belt, take on leadership responsibilities as a Cadet Leader, and later become a Junior Coach, helping to inspire and support younger students beginning their own martial arts journey.

Following the transition from Black Panther Karate to Enigma Martial Arts, Jacob continued his development, achieving the prestigious rank of Shodan Ho 1st Dan Black Belt at the age of 12. Just under two years later, at only 14 years old, he successfully graded to Shodan Ho 2nd Dan Black Belt, marking almost a decade of continuous training and progression.

Today, with over 9 years of karate experience, Jacob not only continues to develop his own skills but also teaches and mentors students through his Sunday karate classes. His journey is a testament to the values of perseverance, respect, discipline and continuous improvement that martial arts instils.
